Air conditioning of a temporarily covered swimming pool

Facts & Figures
The project
When Losberger de Boer created a 20 x 30 m temporary canopy for the swimming pool, our task as a reliable service partner was to ensure consistent temperatures and good ventilation all year round during the two-year restoration period. During the renovation of the outdoor pool, we were there right from the start with our on-site expertise and used our heating systems to ensure uninterrupted school sports for the local children.
We installed 11 PWW automatic hot water heaters during the construction phase. The double-shell structure of the Loesberger de Boes roof not only served as perfect weather protection, but also significantly reduced the heat loss from the hall.
The heating system we provided was integrated into the existing fixed installation and ensures pleasant temperatures of 32 degrees in the pool, catering and changing areas all year round thanks to a district heating system powered by combined heat and power (CHP).
In addition, with our expertise, we installed a special fresh air exchange system to dehumidify the air in the pool area and two HTL120 for additional heating according to VDI specifications for outside temperatures below -5 °C.
Since its opening on March 20, 2023, many satisfied guests have flocked to the Mona Mare in Monheim am Rhein, who enjoy the temporary and heated swimming pool canopy and can now pursue their sporting activities all year round.
