Turm am Mailänder Platz
Powerful winter construction heating for high-altitude project
Facts & Figures
The project
The ‘Turm am Mailänder Platz’, a new hotel extending over 21 floors, is being built in the centre of Stuttgart.
The heating concept that HELOT developed for the winter months during the construction period envisaged introducing warm air into the building mainly on the ground floor and first floor. Due to the height of the building, warm air was also introduced on floors 3, 5, 10, 13 and 15.
Despite the limited space available on the construction site, the entire shell of the building was heated efficiently and evenly. Particularly successful was the installation of the air distribution system, which was planned in such a way as to minimise disruption to the other finishing trades.
HELOT is proud to have been involved in this challenging project and to have provided a service that met the requirements for the winter construction heating.
